South Korean singer, lyricist, and composer. After enlisting in the Army for his mandatory military service from 1976 to 1979, he became a solo singer in 1981. He had a brief career as a vocalist in the rock band Love and Peace in 1982 before he formed the heavy metal band Baekdusan in 1986 and worked as a vocalist . After establishing Baekdusan Productions in 1988, he worked as a manager and producer for singer Lee Ji-yeon. In 1991, he turned to a trot singer and released the album “Woman,” followed by solo activities.
