Tony is a Chinese-Canadian singer represented by Astro Music. He was a trainee for eight months under Hongyi Entertainment prior to his appearance as a contestant on the South Korean boy group survival reality show Produce X 101, where he ranked 20th. After the show, Tony started vlogging and releasing song covers.
He also participated in the Chinese survival show, Youth With You season 3. He ranked number 1 throughout the show until a controversy arose regarding his parents’ business and his nationality, which led him to withdraw from the show. In the end, the show was canceled before it could finish.
Currently, he is still somewhat active in activities.
