Dongwoon is a South Korean singer. He debuted as the youngest member of boy band Beast in 2009. In 2016, he and four other band members left label Cube Entertainment when their contract expired. They have since reformed to promote as Highlight under Around Us Entertainment. Dong Woon attended Hanyoung High School and graduated from Dongguk University on 16 February 2017. He has been active in musical theater and also TV variety shows.
Son Dongwoon has successfully passed the final round of the public lottery for the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s 364th Conscripted Policemen Examination. His enlistment date will be on May 9, 2019 and complete service on December 8, 2020.
