South Korean singer and songwriter who performs under the stage name "sEODo". He is the creator, leader and main vocalist of the Korean group, sEODo band, a group who popularized Jeoson Pop. His style focuses on the characteristic story, rhythm, and melody of the Korean traditional music and mixes with the pop elements in today’s generation creating a fresh and unique genre. He was able to create the genre through the influence of learning Korean traditional music since he was 5 years old. He then studied applied music in college majoring in Pansori and practical composition. Upon the recognition of a newly created style of music, he received several awards in 2019.
He created sEODo band in 2018 and joined the 2018 21st Century Korean Music Project where they earned the Encouragement Award. The song used in that event was released in 2019. In that same year they won the 11th Korea University Gugak Festival held at the Baekwoon Art Hall getting the grand prize 10 million Won along with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism award. In 2020 sEODo and the rest of the band began getting more recognition after he appeared as a mystery singer in the last episode of "I Can See Your Voice" season 7. In 2021, the band won 1st place in the JTBC show "Poongryu – Battle Between the Vocalist" which has increased their popularity in South Korea.
