Seo Go Eun is a South Korean rhythmic gymnast. Her grandmother suggested that she should try rhythmic gymnastics. She was introduced to the sport at an after-school class when she was in 2nd year of elementary school, and, on the recommendation of her teacher, she decided to pursue the sport as an athlete.
She then persuaded her parents that she needed to go abroad to learn the sport properly and when she was 9, she traveled alone to train in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, then to Ukraine, and also to Russia. She returned to Korea at the age of 13. She placed 1st overall in the National Youth Athletic Competition in 2013. She won the bronze medal in the team event at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. She place 1st in the national team selection in 2021 and the plan is for her to represent South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
