Paul Potts is a British tenor. He attended St. Mary Redcliffe and Temple School, where he developed his love of singing. After leaving school in 1987, he worked in several part-time jobs before joining an amateur opera company in 1999 where he played minor roles in Puccini’s "Turandot". In 2007, he auditioned in "British’s Got Talent" and, despite controversy with his amateur status, he won the competition and has frequently appeared as a guest singer in all major opera houses around the world. He frequently visits South Korea and appears in several shows.
