Park Yoon Sik is a South Korean singer and member of punk band CRYING NUT and MONKEY GANG WAR. He joined Crying Nut in 1993 as the main vocalist and guitarist when they started performing in night clubs and small festivals. In 1995, they started performing in in the Hongdae club scene in Seoul. In 1998, the released their 1st album "Speed Up Losers" and slowly became a household name in South Korea as one of the founders of Joseon Punk, a style that incorporates foreign genres while still reflecting their inherent Korean heritage. In 2002, they gained more popularity following their performances at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. They were also invited to the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany and now have a steady fanbase around the world. He also joined ska band Monkey Gang War as the main guitarist along musicians from other indie/punk bands. Crying Nut does not usually appear on TV as they prefer rock festivals or concerts instead.
