Baek Seung Ryeol, known by his stage name PAIIEK, is a South Korean singer, musician and member of the rock/city pop trio BAND NAH. He graduated from Hanyeong Foreign Language High School and later obtained a double bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature and Political Science from Yonsei University and a Ph.D. in Convergence Science and Technology from Seoul National University. He debuted as a soloist in 2018 with the single "Madeleine" featuring Park Hyun Ah. He used to be part of bands such as SICHETMALO, AFTER THOUGHTS, Taj, Seoul Wave Factory, and BHC. In 2014, he joined BAND NAH and re-debuted as the bassist with the single "Late Dawn". The band usually performs in rock festivals or open-air concerts but have occasionally participated on TV shows such as "Vocal Play 2" or "Great Seoul Invasion".
