Ong Seong Wu is a South Korean singer and actor born in Incheon. Ong graduated from Dong Seoul University as a performing art major and took his first steps into the entertainment world in 2017 when he participated in the popular survival reality program, “Produce 101, Season 2”. Placing fifth in the competition, he made his official debut as a member of the subsequent idol group, Wanna One, that same year. Before signing with Fantagio as an acting trainee in 2016, he worked as a model for various online shopping websites. Taking part in various variety programs over the years, he made his debut as an actor in the 2019 coming-of-age television drama, “Moment of Eighteen”.Ong concluded his contract with Wanna One on December 31, 2018, although he would still appear with the group until its official farewell concerts on January 24–27, 2019.
From 2017-2018, he was part of the Produce 101 Season 2 winning idol group, Wanna One.
