Oh Jin Sung, also known professionally as izi, is a South Korean singer and only active member of rock band IZI (이지). He graduated from Masan Technical High School. He joined 3 other university freshmen and began his career in early 2003 as the band’s vocalist, performing in the active music scene near Hongdae. The band officially debuted in 2005 with their 1st album, "Modern Life… And… With izi…. " and became widely known with the hit song "Emergency Room", an OST for the KBS drama "Delightful Girl, Choon Hyang". The band halted activities in 2007 after issues with their agency and he was forced to move to Japan and worked there as a soloist. In 2017, he reunited with one of the band’s members and released the single album "RE;START". He now promotes as a solo artist using the band’s name.
