Moon Myung Jin is a South Korean soul and R&B singer who sometimes performs under the stage name "Soul4Life". He was born in Seoul and he made his debut in 2001 with the release of his first full-length album, "Wounds". He remained in relative obscurity for the next 10 years singing many OSTs for dramas and movies but never figuring in music shows. He was invited to the show "Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend" in 2013 and gained plenty of attention after he sang Sunflower’s "It’s Not Just Sadness". In 2014, he was praised by singer Michael Bolton who was the guest legend of the show and Bolton promised to produce Moon’s song, which he did the next time he visited South Korea. In 2015, he won the KBS Music Festival Singer of the Year Award. He is also a Professor at Namyejong Arts and Practical College.
