Michael Chow is Canadian-Chinese. After graduating from psychology at York University of Toronto (mother is a professor in East Asian Studies, there), he pursued his acting career in Hong Kong. Knowing almost no Chinese nor acting he worked his way up the ladder developing his skills. He has appeared in over 80 films and starred in over 30 of them. He also wrote and co-directed "Mr. Mumble" & "The Spirit Of The Dragon".
