Lee Sang Hyuk is a South Korean musician and member of punk band CRYING NUT and DADDY O RADIO. He joined Crying Nut in 1993 as the drummer when they started performing in night clubs and small festivals. In 1995, they started performing in in the Hongdae club scene in Seoul. In 1998, the released their 1st album "Speed Up Losers" and slowly became a household name in South Korea as one of the founders of Joseon Punk, a style that incorporates foreign genres while still reflecting their inherent Korean heritage. In 2002, they gained more popularity following their performances at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. They were also invited to the 2006 FIFA World Cup and now have a steady fanbase around the world. Crying Nut does not usually appear on TV as they prefer rock festivals or concerts instead. His twin brother, Lee Sang Myun, is also part of the band. In 2021, he joined Irish-style punk band Daddy O Radio but given their busy schedules with their original bands, they rarely perform together.
