Lee Hye Jung is a South Korean culinary researcher. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Home Economics at Daegu Catholic University (formerly known as Hyosung Women’s University). In 1979, she married Ko Koh Hwan, a medical doctor at the Korean Army, and have two children. With her outstanding culinary skills, she gained recognition by appearing in a Daegu cultural broadcast TV program in 1993 and she then began working as a culinary instructor. At the age of 43, she decided to move abroad to continue her education and graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF) in Costiglione d’Asti, Italy before coming back to South Korea.
She runs a variety of businesses while appearing in many cooking and variety shows and she is the CEO of a cooking studio called Kitchen Story.
