Lee Hong Nae is a South Korean model and actor, born and raised in Yangsan, Gyeongsang-do. He graduated from the Catholic University of Pusan with a degree in public administration.
At 19 years old Lee moved to Seoul and ventured into modeling. He mainly worked for magazines. After fulfilling his mandatory military service, Lee chose to pursue a career in the film industry despite not getting any formal training in acting. Lee made his acting debut in the movie Fire in Hell in 2014.
His breakthrough was a villain role in the TV series The Uncanny Counter. For his portrayal, he won the Scene Stealer Award for the male actor category at the 2021 Brand Customer Loyalty Award organized by the Korea Consumer Forum.
In 2022, he was named Best New Actor at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards for his performance in the film "Hot Blooded".
He was also part of the BTS music video "Come Back Home".
