Lee Eun Joo was a South Korean actress. After finding work as a model, she began to be offered roles in various TV dramas, including "Start" and "KAIST". Her film debut came in the 1999 award-winning feature "Rainbow Trout".
She was especially acclaimed for her performance in "Phoenix", winning the Top Excellence Award (Actress) and the Best Couple Award with Lee Seo-Jin at the 2004 MBC Drama Awards. Lee Eun Joo was also known for her vocal abilities, lending her voice to multiple songs for her works.
On February 22, 2005, at the age of 24, she passed away due to suicide.
