Ko Seok Hyun is a South Korean mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete. He was born in Busan and first wore a uniform when he was in 5th grade of elementary school and started attending a judo dojo. He remained active as a judo athlete until college when he was introduced to sambo, Russian martial art, two years ago returning to the army. In 2017, he became the first Korean to reach the top of the World Championships in sambo after winning in Sochi, Russia. From May 2021 until December 2021 he was the AFC Angel Fighting Welterweight Champion.
