Kim Yeon Gyu is a South Korean singer under IST Entertainment. He was a former trainee under YG Entertainment prior to his appearance as a contestant on boy group survival reality show "YG Treasure Box", he was eliminated from the show in episode 9.
On February 2022, IST Entertainment revealed that Kim Yeon Gyu would be joining another boy group survival reality show titled “THE ORIGIN – A, B, OR What?” as a contestant. He was placed 7th in the show and qualified to be a member of boy group ATBO.
Kim debuted as ATBO’s main vocal. He made his debut with the mini album titled “The Beginning : 開花” along with the lead single "Monochrome (Color)" on July 27, 2022.
