Kim Sang Min is a South Korean singer and a university professor. He graduated from Joongang High School and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Inha University and a master’s degree in Practical Music from Sangmyung University. He made his debut in 1999 with the album "Until… (Heaven Helps)" but despite being a singer in an era where rock ballads were popular, he did not make a big impact in the industry and remained an obscure singer for more than a decade. In 2001 he released his second album and the title song "You" became his most representative as his high-pitched voice shines in it. In 2018 he appeared in "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man Season 2" and his song re-entered the charts thanks to MeloMance’s performance. During his third album, his agency went bankrupt and he began working as a professor to earn some money. He is currently teaching in the Department of Applied Music at Kyungmin University.
