Kim Jung Mo is a South Korean singer-songwriter, guitarist, musical actor and record producer. He graduated from Jungang High School.
Kim Jung Mo made his official debut in 2004 under the stage name "X-Mas" as part of the rock band "TRAX" with the single "Paradox". He was heavily involved in writing the songs and, alongside band mate Jay, co-wrote all of the tracks in the extended play "Cold-Hearted Man" in 2010. By 2011, SM wanted to involve Kim in other projects so he joined Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul in a duo called "M&D" and performed their single "Close Ur Mouth" on several music shows. In 2012, the 4 members of TRAX were supposed to enlist together in the military but Kim’s scoliosis and a broken collarbone delayed his enlistment. He served 23 months as a public service worker and the band went on indefinite hiatus during that time.
After his mandatory military service, Kim continued collaborating with Hee Chul in 2015 and 2016 and also produced Hee Chul’s duet with Mamamoo’s Wheein titled "Narcissus". TRAX returned in 2018 but SM decided to transform the group’s concept from a rock band to an EDM band and it was renamed "TraxX". In 2019, after 15 years with the label, Kim left SM Entertainment and a few months later he released the single "Peach" in a collaboration with Henry and then signed with PA Entertainment.
