Jung Ji Hyun is a South Korean retired Greco-Roman wrestler and current coach. He graduated from Seohyeon High School and later a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Physical Education from Korea National Sport University. He joined the national team in late 2003 and went on to win the gold medal at the 2004 Asian Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan and, a few months later, at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, both in the 60 kg.-category. He has also served as commentator for MBC during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and for KBS during the 2022 (held in 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) Asian Games.
