Kim Joo Taek, known professionally as Julian Kim, is a South Korean baritone, vocalist and leader of the crossover group Miraclass. He graduated from Sunhwa Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music at the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan. He made his debut in 2009 as Figaro in the opera "The Barber of Seville" in Italy and, since then, he has steadily performed in several operas. In 2017, he decided to return to South Korea to audition for the singing competition "Phantom Singer 2". He made the final rounds where he was grouped with 3 other singers, forming Miraclass. The group earned 2nd place behind winners Forestella.
