John Alderman Linton is a South Korean physician and educator. He is a director at Yonsei University Severance Hospital International Health Care Center. Linton received a Doctor of Medicine from Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1987. Since 1991 he has been a director at the Yonsei University Severance Hospital International Health Care Center.
He contributed to the development of the ambulance customized for Korea in 1992. His ambulance was remodeled to suit Korean geography. It is known to be the basis of the fire ambulance used today. He became the first special naturalized Korean citizen in 2012. His family moved from the United States and for five generations they have carried out missionary and volunteer work.
