Jin Se Yeon is an award-winning South Korean actress. Born as Kim Yoon Jung, she made her acting debut in the 2010 popular television drama “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter”. She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including “Bridal Mask” (2012), “Five Fingers” (2012), “Inspiring Generation” (2014), “Doctor Stranger” (2014) and “The Flower in Prison” (2016) , “Grand Prince” (2018) and Item (2019).
Jin Se Yeon began her career as an idol trainee for South Korea’s girl group Jewelry under Star Empire Entertainment. Before long, she started to appear in various TV commercials, which then steered her direction into acting.
Jin graduated from Chung-Ang University – Theater and Film.
Jin revealed in late 2012 that she had added a year to her real age in her résumé, born in 1994 instead of 1993. Her agency explained, “Jin Se Yeon was only 17-years-old when she debuted. She was so young that it was hard for her to land any roles. That’s why we added a year to her age.”
