Jang Shin Young is a South Korean actress. She made her entertainment debut through a local beauty contest in 2001 and is best known for her portrayal of the femme fatale lead in the E-Channel drama “The Empress”.
She married Wi Seung Cheol, then a marketing director at Bae Yong Joon’s management agency BOF, on November 18, 2006. The couple divorced in 2009; they have a son.
It was announced that Jang Shin Young and Kang Kyung Joon are getting married in May 2018.
