IU, born Lee Ji-eun on May 16, 1993, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actress, and record producer. She debuted in 2008 with her first album, “Lost and Found,” and rose to prominence with her hit songs such as “Good Day,” “You and I,” and “Palette.” IU has released multiple successful albums, winning numerous awards for her music and establishing herself as one of South Korea’s most successful solo artists.
