Im Hyung Guk is a South Korean actor and theater actor. He graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature of Hongik University. After entering the theater industry, he performed well in the play "Waiting for Godot".
He made his debut on the big screen in the 1998 movie "Tie a Yellow Ribbon". Since then, he has appeared in numerous independent short films and TV dramas. He is also known to the public as a host of ‘KBS Independent Cinema’.
In 2006, he made a strong impression with his co-star Yang Eun Yong through his first feature film "Sundays in August". They collaborated again for the 2009 movie "The Pot".
