Born in Seoul, he graduated from Jung Ang University Graduate School of Film. He made his directorial debut with ”ORG”(2014), an experimental film, and then made numerous short films including ”Lachrymal”(1998), ”Transfigured Night”(2000), and ”Morning Calm”(2008) as well as feature films like ”Unborn But Forgotten”(2000) and ”Hyunsoo Story”(2013), which was invited to the 39th Seoul Independent Film Festival.
