Ibo is from Somalia. He arrived in China around 2013/2014 and has worked and studied in Shenyang, Liaoning since. To help improve his Chinese, he started posting short videos capturing his daily life and experiences on social media. He garnered millions of fans through his popular posts.
He has appeared as a guest on several variety shows and programs in China, including Keep Running and The Legendary Swordsman, but is perhaps most famous for his role as the Seventh Elder Ao Guanhai in Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain.
