Hwang Soo Kyung is a South Korean broadcaster, announcer and TV host. She graduated from Seomun Girls’ High School and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in French and French Literature from Ewha Womans University, a master’s degree in Media Information Science from Sungkyunkwan University and attended Columbia University in the United States for a course in Broadcast Training.
She was selected as part of KBS 19th Public Recruitment for Announcers in 1993 and began working first at KBS News Plaza for 2 years before moving to KBS News Network in 1995 and then to KBS News 9 in 1997. She resigned from KBS in 2015 and became a freelance announcer. Her voice is soft and mellow with great diction and is constantly imitated by Kim Young Chul in "Knowing Bros".
