Hwang In Beom is a South Korean footballer who plays midfielder. He graduated from Chungnam Mechanical Technical High School and he was part of the youth team of Daejeon Citizen from 2009 until 2014. He was promoted to the senior team in 2015 making his debut in a game against Pohang Steelers scoring a goal and becoming the youngest scorer in the team’s history. In 2018 he began his mandatory military service but received special permission to attend the 2018 Asian Games with the under-23 national team. South Korea won the title and, as a reward, he was discharged less than halfway through his mandatory service. He made his debut for the senior national team in 2018 and in 2019 moved to Canada to play for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the MLS. In 2020 he transferred to Rubin Kazan in Russia where he remained until 2022 when his contract was suspended due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He played briefly for FC Seoul and in July 2022 signed with Greek club Olympiacos.
