Hong Dae Kwang is a South Korean singer-songwriter. Before making his debut, he was a vocal teacher and a street performer while studying architecture at Myongji University. He dropped out of university and enlisted in his mandatory military service and it was there where he began to pursue his dream of music. After he was discharged from the military, he majored and later graduated in Visual Music at Dong-A University of Media and Arts. He has the experience of winning the gold prize in the 2nd CCM Rookie Selection Contest. He also has a song called "You", which he released under the stage name Pierrot. However, he gained popularity when he appeared as a contestant in "Superstar K4" in 2012 and finished in 4th place. He is currently under C-JeS Entertainment and while he doesn’t appear on many music shows, he continues to establish himself as a good ballad singer who has also sung several OSTs.
