Heo Hoon is a South Korean professional basketball player. In the Korean Basketball League (KBL), he plays for Suwon KT Sonicboom. He has been awarded the Korean Basketball League MVP for the year 2020.
Hoon represented South Korea in the 2012 FIBA Under-17 World Championship and also participated in the 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. In his senior year, he participated in the qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China.
He went to Yonsei University in college. Hoon’s older brother Heo Ung is a professional basketball player for the Wonju DB Promy. His father Hur Jae is a former head coach of the South Korean National Basketball team.
