Han Dam Hee, born as Goo Hye Yeon in Busan, is a South Korean model, actor and trot singer.
During college days, she began working as a fitting model to earn some pocket money. She then went on to doing fashion, racing and exit modeling. While attending Dong Eui University of Science and Technology, she was the vocalist of "D-Band" made up of professors, staff and students from the same school. She went to Seoul and entered showbiz in 2015 with her debut appearance in the SBS drama "Remember".
To continue pursuing her musical career, she moved to Tokyo and participated in Mnet’s "I See Your Voice". In 2016, she made her name known after participating in the Season 2 of "Neumokbo". From then on, she focused her activities towards becoming the singer she had been dreaming of since high school. She received producer Baek Min Hyuk’s proposal to become a singer and started training at his recommendation.
In May 2018, after two years of training, they released the digital single "Life Is", making it her official debut as a singer. It was at this point when she changed her stage name to Gu Dam Hee, but because she felt Han is better than Goo, she changed it to Han Dam Hee.
