Lee Dong Hyuk, known by his stage name Haechan, is a member of SM Entertainment’s boy groups NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. He was born in Seoul but moved to Jeju when he was 7 through to the age of 12. Haechan joined SM through the Weekly Audition and his stage name was picked by Lee Soo Man, the CEO of SM entertainment.
On January 6, 2023 it was announced that he would take a break from his promotions due to health concerns.
On January 27, 2023 it was announced that he will resume his activities starting with NCT 127’s upcoming comeback with “Ay-Yo,” the repackaged version of their 4th studio album, on January 30, 2023.
