Go Young Wook

Go Young Wook, born in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, is a former South Korean singer and member of the defunct group Roo’ra, who debuted along with the group in 1994.

Go was arrested and indicted on charges of sexually assaulting, harassing, and raping three minors on five occasions in his residence and car from July 2010 to December 2012. The Supreme Court upheld a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence in December 2013. The court also issued an order to disclose personal information for five years and location tracking electronic devices (electronic anklets) for three years. In July 2015, he was released from Seoul Southern Prison and wore the ankle monitor until 2018. He is banned from appearing on public television channels in Korea and both his Twitter and Instagram were banned citing the policy of convicted sex offenders not being allowed on those platforms.
