Lee Hyuk Jae, credited by his stage name Eunhyuk, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actor. He is best known as a member of the K-pop boy band Super Junior and its subgroups, Super Junior-T, Super Junior-Happy and Super Junior D&E. In 2011, he joined Super Junior’s Mandopop subgroup, Super Junior-M as one of the two new additions, along with Sungmin. Eunhyuk also works as MC of variety shows and radio DJ.
Eunhyuk was born in Neunggok, Goyang, Gyeonggi.
Eunhyuk officially debuted as part of the 12-member project group Super Junior 05 on 6th November 2005.
Eunhyuk replaced Kangin as MC on Mnet’s music program M! Countdown in late 2006. He hosted with bandmates Leeteuk and Shindong until early 2008. In February 2007, he was placed in the trot-singing subgroup Super Junior-T. A year later, he became a member of Super Junior-Happy.
From 2009, Eunhyuk, along with Leeteuk and Shindong, has been regular guests SBS’s Strong Heart. Where they host a special segment, Boom Academy. He is also a frequent guest on Star King, even on SBS, with fellow Super Junior members.
In November, Eunhyuk made his musical theatre debut in Fame, where he played Tyrone Jackson, along with Tiffany of Girls’ Generation, Son Ho Young, Lina of The Grace and Kim Jung Mo of TRAX.
Eunhyuk is MC for MBC every1’s Super Junior Foresight, along with fellow members Leeteuk, Kyuhyun, Yesung, and Shindong. From 23rd March 2012, he took over as MC for the last three live shows of singing-survival program Great Birth 2, better known as MBC Star Audition, on MBC. As of the 10th April 2012 broadcast, following the change in MCs and the departure of Shindong from Strong Heart, the show was revamped with Leeteuk and Eunhyuk billed as two of the ‘six-fixed guests’.
