Han made several films with Godfrey Ho under the name Eagle Han, mostly appearing in villain roles. He travelled between Korea and Hong Kong, making Kung Fu films. Before he met Godfrey Ho, Han was first known for two Hong Kong films in which he worked with Jackie Chan, James Tien and Yen Shi Kwan. Han also made a cameo appearance in Jackie Chan’s first movie he directed, “The Fearless Hyena”. He is perhaps best known for his role as Nan Qing in Jackie Chan’s “Dragon Fist”.
After appearing in the television series “Walking Towards the Sky” in 1997, Han retired from acting and became a monk in Gyeongsang Province. In 2002, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and died on August 12, 2003.
