Choi Myung Sook, known by the stage name of Choi Jin Hee, is a South Korean singer. She went to Tokyo with her friend when she was in her third year of high school, and she passed an audition for Oasis Records. In the early days of her debut, she went to a music academy and joined forces with girls his age to form a six-member band, "The Sheep". In 1982, while working at the nightclub of a hotel, singer Kim Hee-gap saw her and recruited her to sing. She became part of the group "Hanultari" and rose to fame in 1985 by winning the KBS Teen Singer Award with the song "You Are My Life". She dominated the music scene in the 1980s and won many prizes in Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. In an interview in 2008, she said she was inactive for a number of years due to several circumstances but returned to TV in 2013.
