Lee Hee Eon, known by the stage name Cho Myung Sub, is a South Korean trot singer and traditional culture expert. He graduated from Wonju Technical High School and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Creative Writing from Soongsil Cyber University. He started listening to old songs since he was in 5th grade and became fascinated with the culture from the 1930s and 1940s. He appeared with his family in an episode of "Hello Counselor" in 2013 and later was interviewed by Lee Kyung Kyu in a 2015 show. In 2019, he appeared on a KBS special project called "I Like Songs" in 2019 when the show honored trot singer Jang Yoon Jeong. She selected him as the final winner and later signed with her agency which currently represents him and KBS signed him as an exclusive singer in 2021. His range is that of a baritone but has been called the Korean Frank Sinatra due to his voice and love of that era.
