Cho Kwang Jin was born in Gyeonggi-do province, in 1987. He was started uploading webtoons on the amateur section for a year, which eventually led to his debut on Lezhin Comics, a new webtoon platform, in November 2013. In 2015, he got to publish a series on Daum webtoon. The series was Itawon Class. The TV series Itawon Class (2020), which he participated as screenwriter, was aired from January 2020. In 2021, he created his first feature, Cabriolet (2021).
