Byun Baek Hyun is a South Korean singer, songwriter, model, actor, and creative director. He was a member of his school band and has attended several musical festivals, later winning an award at a local rock festival. He was street casted by SM Entertainment in 2011. Baekhyun was one of the last members to join EXO. He is in the subunit called EXO-CBX, since 2016, along with his members Xiumin and Chen.
In May 2018, Baekhyun collaborated with Privé and launched his own streetwear brand, Privé by BBH, later becoming the co-creative director of the brand. On July 10 of 2019, he made his solo debut with the album titled “City Lights”. He also became leader of Super M, a super boy band group formed in 2019. Super M debuted with their self-titled EP on October 4, 2019.
Baekhyun enlisted in the military on May 6, 2021. Having been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, he is serving as a public service worker instead of an active-duty soldier.
