Netflix’s “Parasyte: The Grey” has unveiled an action-packed new teaser and poster!
Based on the universe of the legendary manga series “Parasyte” by Hitoshi Iwaaki, “Parasyte: The Grey” follows the events that unfold when mysterious parasitic life-forms fall to Earth from outer space and attempt to gain power by living off of human hosts.
Jeon So Nee stars as Jeong Su In, a woman who falls victim to one of the mysterious parasites. However, when it fails to take over her brain, she unexpectedly begins a bizarre coexistence with it. Goo Kyo Hwan co-stars as Seol Kang Woo, who is on a quest to track down parasites in order to find his missing sister.
The newly released teaser poster depicts the unique identity of Jeong Su In who is neither human nor parasite. Unlike the left side of her face which appears human, the tentacle of parasite Heidi reaches out from the right side of her face. Viewers are curious to learn more about the strange symbiotic relationship between Jeong Su In and Heidi.
In the teaser, a parasite that has taken over a human announces, “A short while ago, we came to Earth with one goal in mind. We have no choice but to parasitize human bodies to live,” teasing how parasites have begun to infiltrate Earth.
As an intense battle between humans and parasites unfolds, Kang Woo (Goo Kyo Hwan) hides himself from the parasites. Team leader Jun Kyung (Lee Jung Hyun) of Team Grey—a task force dedicated to battling parasites—further previews the long battle that will take place between humans and parasites.
Finally, near the end of the teaser, Jeong Su In becomes surrounded by parasites who suspect her to be different from them. Confronted by danger, Heidi makes a powerful entrance, raising anticipation for the unpredictable story to unfold.
