The long-awaited Season 2 of SBS’s revenge drama “The Escape of the Seven” has shared a sneak peek of the first script reading!
Season 2 of the hit 2023 drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which told the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will depict the counterattack of the seven people, who returned from hell, against new evil that held hands with Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon). Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, and more will be reprising their roles, while CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin will newly join the cast for Season 2.
At the script reading, writer Kim Soon Ok as well as lead actors Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, Yoon Tae Young, and Lee Jung Shin attended and showcased their passionate acting.
The actors immersed into their characters—Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon), Geum Ra Hee (Hwang Jung Eum), Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon), Han Mo Ne (Lee Yoo Bi), Cha Joo Ran (Shin Eun Kyung), Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon), Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee), Nam Chul Woo (Jo Jae Yoon), and Kang Ki Tak (Yoon Tae Young)—and portrayed the upgraded tension and chemistry.
On top of this, Lee Jung Shin, who joined Season 2 as the new character Hwang Chan Sung, also captures attention. Hwang Chan Sung is the CEO of SAVE, the No.1 company in the portal site industry. Hwang Chan Sung appears to be picky and cold on the outside, but he is kind and affectionate toward the woman he loves. He is expected to act as the key player in the success of Matthew Lee’s grand plan.
“The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” is slated to premiere on March 29. Stay tuned!
