Song Hye Kyo may be making a special appearance in a drama for the first time since her debut!
On February 23, STARNEWS reported that Song Hye Kyo recently departed for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to film her special appearance in the new drama “All Your Wishes Come True” (literal title).
In response to the report, Song Hye Kyo’s agency UAA briefly stated, “We cannot confirm.”
“All Your Wishes Come True” is a fantasy rom-com about an overly emotional genie trapped inside a lamp and the woman who helps him escape his prison. Kim Woo Bin will be starring as the volatile genie, while Suzy will play Ga Young, a human who lacks emotion.
The drama will be penned by Kim Eun Sook, the famous writer known for hit dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “The Glory,” “Goblin,” “Mister Sunshine,” and “Heirs” (which also starred Kim Woo Bin), and it will be helmed by director Lee Byung Hun of “Extreme Job” and “Melo Is My Nature.”
Song Hye Kyo’s relationship with writer Kim Eun Sook began as they worked together in the writer’s hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” in 2016, and the actress also starred in Kim Eun Sook’s latest popular Netflix series “The Glory” in 2022. If the report is true, Song Hye Kyo will be making a special appearance for the first time in 28 years since her debut.
Recently, it was confirmed that Song Hye Kyo will star in the new film “Dark Nuns” (literal translation), which is a spin-off of Kang Dong Won’s hit 2015 film “The Priests.” The actress is gearing up for her return on the big screen for the first time in 10 years since “My Brilliant Life” in 2014.
