The weekend drama ratings battle is heating up!
On March 23, two highly-anticipated new dramas premiered to promising starts. JTBC’s “Hide”—a new mystery thriller starring Lee Bo Young, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Chung Ah—scored an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent for its first episode.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic”—a new romance drama starring Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo—premiered to a nationwide average of 15.3 percent, making it the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday.
tvN’s hit romance drama “Queen of Tears” remained first place in its time slot with a nationwide average of 11.0 percent, marking its highest ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays).
SBS’s “Flex x Cop” wrapped up its first season on an average nationwide rating of 9.3 percent, while MBC’s “Wonderful World” kicked off the second half of its run on a nationwide average of 6.3 percent.
