Goni is a Hwatu gambler who decided to use his life savings and steal his recently divorced sister’s alimony to gamble. Unfortunately, he loses the money after being swindled by professional cheat gamblers and refuses to go back home out of shame. One day, he meets Mr. Pyung, a master Hwatu gambler, who decided to take him as a disciple on the condition that Goni stops gambling after regaining the money helost. However, Goni meets Madam Jung, who runs an illegal gambling operation and starts working with her, along with pro-gambler Ko Kwang Ryeol, betraying his promise to Mr. Pyung.
