Oseam Temple

Gil Son and Gam Ee are brother and sister who were raised at an orphanage managed by a Catholic organization. They give up a good condition of being adopted and sneak out of the orphanage in order to stay together. Five year old Gil Son and his blind sister Gam Ee overcome all the hardship with a strong will to go back to their home. When they reached their hometown, what awaitsthem is only the river which engulfed the whole town due to a dam built on it. Moreover, Gam Ee is violated by a young man they ran into on the way. Gil Son and his sister meets Haeng Woon, a monk, and stay at the temple with him. When the monk is away for give-outs, blizzard blocks the way to the temple and sister Angela manages to find them. Gil Son sits there looking pale saying that his sister will open her eyes and see. He dies sitting like that. The small temple where he sits is named “Oseam Temple”.
