Gisaeng Mae Hwa is a daughter of an independence fighter against the Japanese colonization and always tries to behave well. She becomes to love the only son Lee Dong Ho, a Korean public official. Even though his father was pro-Japanese officer, Lee is a sincere patriot. The two grow the same belief and terror a train with a group of Japanese high ranking officials using explosive explosions. And then, they start ajourney, seeking exile in China.
