Se Ob and Myung Dal are falsely accused of stealing a motorcycle. Se Ob tries to clear himself of the false charge, but his friends try to stop him. The more Se Ob tries, the more his friends suffer the consequences. There is no Stephen Chow in If You’re with Stephen Chow, and Se Ob and Myung Dal aren’t one of those hilarious comedy duos. Also, the film isn’t a confession froman avid Stephen Chow fan. The goal of this film is to recreate a sense of him through the characteristics unique to Stephen Chow: a character who innocently keeps his faith while the world is uncompassionate; how his stubborn will warms our heart; the awkward rhythm; and off-beat jokes. If You’re with Stephen Chow is also a song of a Korean indie rock musician.
